Mycelium paver project

This project, a collaboration with the University of Minnesota Mycology Club, is exploring the growing, crafting, and utilizing of mycelium pavers from site-sourced materials. These will be installed in a test plot along the 'Old Growth Canopy Trail Project' on the 'Esker Trail' at the University of Minnesota's Cloquet Forestry Center.  Some of the work and research can be found below. Much of this work, from fungi collection to paver design and growth, has been done by Kyle Franta, Sam Phipps, and Claire Anderson.

This project (and page!) are in process and development so please continue to check back as we will continue to share more in the future. Images below
